Social Advocates for Youth (SAY) engages the San Diego community to work collaboratively and partners with organizations such as schools, community coalitions, and local government to create positive change. SAY San Diego’s holistic approach enriches youth, empowers individuals and families, and engages communities.

Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego is dedicated to improving the lives of children and families — in our community with patient care, throughout the nation and around the world.

San Diego County Department of Health & Human Services is a public entity that hosts a number of programs for children and families in our county. These include child care & welfare services, adoptions, child abuse resources, as well as the “First 5 Commission” which helps children access strong and supportive environments including school and school-prep services.

Via their Child Health Initiative, the WHO works with partners and Member States to improve the lives of all children and meet the targets of Sustainable Development Goal 3, which aims to end preventable deaths of newborns and children under 5 by 2030. WHO advocates for health equity through universal health coverage (UHC) and the global availability of vaccines to prevent some of the deadliest childhood diseases.
